Munich, March 7 2024 - The RX8111CE and RX4111CE are two new real-time clock (RTC) modules that Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, "Epson") has added to its line-up. Each has a time-stamp feature and is packaged in a small 3.2 x 2.5 x 1.0 mm package. The large-scale manufacturing has started and both parts are ready to be ordered now.

 
Epson's RTC modules are commonly utilized in devices that require the logging and storage of time-of-day data. Electronic devices have been integrating more and more in recent years, all the while reducing their environmental and physical footprints. RTC modules that can retain accurate time over a broader temperature range and use less current are becoming more and more necessary.

Products including office equipment, security equipment, hand-held terminals, factory automation systems, and other compact electronic items are perfect for utilizing the new RTC modules.
